Virginia students encouraged to participate in art and essay contests focusing on African-American Leaders
Richmond, Va. – Jan. 26, 2009 – To help celebrate Black History Month and engage with Virginia’s youth, First Market Bank and Ukrop’s today announced an art and essay contest focusing on African-American leaders.
Contestants can begin creating their submissions today at First Market Bank and Ukrop’s locations between now and Friday, Feb. 20. Winners will be announced on Friday, Feb. 27. Participants just need to print their name and contact information on the back of their entry.
