Come learn more about diabetes management and get your questions answered from some of the experts. These classes will focus on carb-counting, making the most of your monitoring, introduction to insulin therapy and even pump therapy. These classes will feature speakers such as our Ukrop’s Registered Dietitian Sarah Boyd and our Certified Diabetes Educator and Pharmacist Tim Robertson. You will also hear from representatives of ACCU-CHEK and sanofi-aventis about how to use your blood glucose meter and the many benefits of insulin therapy. Join an informal discussion group for people with diabetes or anyone interested in wanting to learn more about diabetes. All meetings are facilitated by a diabetes educator or pharmacist.
